Liaising with the Community

A full-time community liaison officer engages with the community at all levels, before NCG embarks on new initiatives to obtain community involvement and acceptance for new programs before rollout.

The success of the program lies in a strong mobilisation & communication strategy of recruiting, supporting, and retaining individuals into the program for life, through home visits, prevention, intervention, and maintenance management that results in early care seeking behaviour, informed choices, early intervention, and retention. The value of the program also lies in the holistic approach that goes beyond awareness, health, and adherence management. Community upliftment, skills & entrepreneurial development, and job creation take community health the step further towards 'Community Well-being'.
