When getting involved with the social upliftment of any typical South African rural community, respecting and maintaining their cultural & religious beliefs, habits and customs of the community, strengthens intra-social relationships. 

Ndlovu uses the platform that their Sports, Arts & Culture Program presents, to create inter active community involvement and awareness.  Intentional involvement of Elders as well as the Youth in all activities, has built trust and openness that has the sought after spin-off of healthy participation.

Having made community events available to all and encouraging participation, has aided in transcending stigmatizing politics such as poverty and positive HIV status. Besides creating the opportunity of participating on every level, the Ndlovu Sports Art & Culture Program also creates the prospect for outstanding talent to be discovered.  The Ndlovu Sports Program integrates disabled sports in all their activities.

Nurturing and training of talented individuals have been rewarded and the Ndlovu Youth Choir is a clear indication of the level of expertise that the choir has achieved.   Their outstanding achievements contribute to the prestige of the community as a whole.  This is especially beneficial to a community who has not been afforded these opportunities before. 

Success breeds success and promotes and encourages participation on all levels of the Ndlovu Arts & Culture Programs.
