Radiography is a noninvasive test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. We perform a wide variety of radiographic procedures including: Head, Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), Upper extremeties, Lower extremeties, Pelvis, Shoulder, Chest, Abdomen, Barium contrast studies (upper GI series, barium swallow, lower GI series, barium enema), Myelograms, Arthorograms, Lumbar puncture. Since the body is made up of various substances with differing densities, X-rays can be used to reveal the internal structure of the body on film by highlighting these differences using attenuation, or the absorption of X-ray photons by the denser substances (like calcium-rich bones).
